Our Story

We built the research
we wished existed.

Markets generate more commentary than ever and fewer conclusions worth acting on. MarketIntel exists to close that gap: rigorous analysis, plainly stated, for people who have decisions to make.

Why We Exist

The gap between data
and decision.

Institutional-grade market research has always existed. But it lives behind five-figure subscription walls, arrives as 200-page PDFs, and is written for compliance rather than clarity. Meanwhile, free commentary is plentiful, shallow, and optimised for engagement over accuracy.

We started MarketIntel to occupy the space between those two extremes: research that is rigorous enough to inform real decisions, accessible enough to actually be read, and structured so that whether you have twenty minutes or two, you leave with something useful.

Every piece we publish starts with a question someone with skin in the game actually needs answered, not with a keyword opportunity or a content calendar slot.

Our Principles

What we believe
about this work.

01

Data without context is noise.

A revenue figure means nothing without knowing the margin structure behind it. A market-size claim means nothing without knowing who commissioned the study. We always show our work.

02

Good analysis takes a position.

Balanced-to-the-point-of-useless reporting is a form of intellectual cowardice. We form conclusions and state them plainly, with the evidence to back them and the humility to be wrong.

03

Brevity is a form of respect.

Executives don't have time for 200-page reports with the insight buried on page 143. Our formats are designed around how intelligent people actually consume information under time pressure.

04

Research should be falsifiable.

Every opinion piece ends with a prediction that can be verified. Every insight names a forward signal to watch. If you can't be wrong, you're not saying anything useful.

How We Work

Every piece follows
the same five steps.

We don't have a content calendar. We have a research process.

1
The Question

Every piece starts with a question a decision-maker actually needs answered, not 'what's trending' but 'is this market big enough to enter' or 'which competitors will survive the next rate cycle'.

2
Data Collection

We gather primary data, earnings transcripts, regulatory filings, and industry reports. We name our sources. If a figure is an estimate, we say so and explain the methodology behind it.

3
The Analysis

We don't summarise what others have said. We take a position. We model the implications. We name the risks that don't get discussed in press releases or investor decks.

4
Format Selection

We choose the right format for the depth of insight: a full Research Article for complex markets, a rapid-read Insight for a single data signal, or an Opinion for a contested thesis.

5
The Forward Signal

Every piece ends with a concrete, time-bound signal to watch: a metric, a regulatory event, or a product launch that will confirm or refute the thesis within 12 to 24 months.
